GEPVOLT SE has signed a cooperation agreement with ATU for the nationwide rollout of an integrated fast-charging and battery storage infrastructure.
The project will be implemented in two stages: first, high-performance fast-charging stations combined with intelligent battery storage systems will be installed at 20 ATU branches. The contractually agreed rollout to around 275 additional locations is planned to follow.
Integrated infrastructure model with battery storage
GEPVOLT handles the complete technical design, planning, construction and operation of the systems. The storage units act as an energy buffer and enable high charging capacities without requiring extensive grid reinforcement. Peak loads are cushioned, grid connection costs are reduced, and existing grid capacity is used efficiently.
Made in Germany: development and production in Hilden
The battery storage systems used are developed and manufactured at GEPVOLT’s site in Hilden. The company pursues a Made in Germany strategy with a high level of vertical integration. Its proprietary control system intelligently coordinates the grid connection, storage and fast-charging unit.
Systematic rollout with a standardised architecture
The two-stage project model enables a structured and economically efficient infrastructure rollout. Technical repeatability and industrial scalability are the central priorities.
The combination of in-house development, in-house production and our own control system gives us technological independence and the highest quality, Made in Germany.
