Franz Schnorbach
Executive Board
Franz Schnorbach has many years of experience in finance and banking. After completing his professional training at Volksbank Rhein-Hunsrück-Nahe in 1975, he began his career as branch director in Koblenz at Sparda-Bank Südwest. From 1982 to 1989, Franz Schnorbach completed a work-integrated degree at ADG Business School in Montabaur. From 2001 to 2007, he worked as department director and head of the real estate centre at Sparkasse Koblenz. This was followed from 2008 to 2011 by a role as asset manager at PEH Wertpapier AG in Oberursel. He then moved to Dexia Luxembourg, where he was responsible for the German Market division. He currently works in financing support as a distribution partner for BIL Luxembourg.
Ahou Baz
Executive Board
Ahou Baz is an experienced estate agent and businesswoman with over twelve years of expertise in the real estate sector, specialising in green land and renewable energy. She began her career as an estate agent and has continuously specialised in green land. Ms Baz focuses on identifying and marketing suitable plots for sustainable projects. With her deep expertise in evaluating and brokering land ideal for solar farms and other renewable energy projects, she actively supports forward-looking initiatives. Thanks to her extensive network and solid knowledge of renewable energy, Ahou Baz is a sought-after advisor for energy projects. In addition to her work in real estate, Ahou Baz was managing director of an insurance agency.
Karl Assing
Chairman of the Supervisory Board
Karl Assing has more than three decades of experience in the insurance industry. His career began with training as a retail salesperson, followed by a period at Volksbank Stadtlohn after his military service. After successfully qualifying as a bank clerk and studying at Bank-Akademie, he joined R+V Versicherung in 1991. From 1999 to 2009, Karl Assing was sales director at CARDIF Versicherung, a subsidiary of BNP PARIBAS Bank. Since 2011, Karl Assing has worked at today's Freeyou Insurance, initially as authorised representative and since 2012 as a board member. Freeyou Insurance is a subsidiary of the DEVK insurance group.
Dr.-Ing. Olaf Heil
Supervisory Board
Dr.-Ing. Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing. Olaf Heil has more than 30 years of leadership, transformation and governance experience in the international energy and infrastructure sector. He held senior roles at major energy groups and industrial companies. In his previous positions, Dr Heil assumed responsibility at board, management and supervisory board level with P&L accountability on a scale of over EUR 850 million per year. His professional focus areas include the strategic development of energy companies, business development, M&A and cooperation structures, as well as transformation and reorganisation programmes.
Pascal Brückmann
Supervisory Board
With more than twenty years of experience at a leading media group, Pascal Brückmann brings comprehensive expertise in journalism and publishing, business development, brand building, marketing, B2B sales, B2C distribution and people management. In 2018, he founded Globista GmbH for the FUNKE Mediengruppe and led the subsidiary as managing director for five years. Since 2023, Brückmann has focused on new challenges outside the corporate world and is now managing partner of the digital media company Gloobi GmbH & Co. KG.
Jane Alexandra Korte
Supervisory Board
Jane Alexandra Korte is an experienced lawyer with comprehensive knowledge from public and corporate roles. She successfully completed her law degree at the universities of Göttingen and Düsseldorf and began her career at the Landeselternschaft der Gymnasien des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen in Düsseldorf. She then moved to the Deutscher Städtetag in Cologne. For the past two years, she has served as chair of the board of a public limited company in the hospitality and investment sector.
Dr. Horst Friedrich
Advisory Board
With over 30 years of professional experience, Dr Horst Friedrich is a recognised expert in corporate finance and mergers & acquisitions. After studying economics in Germany and the USA, he worked for more than 10 years at Deutsche Bank. At Bankhaus Metzler, he led M&A transactions for over 3 years. In 2019, he founded ADVISOS Corporate Finance Partnerschaftsgesellschaft with partners.
Dr. Michal Dallos
Advisory Board
Dr Michal Dallos, MBA is a corporate finance expert with many years of experience in corporate finance, M&A and the management of direct investments. In 2010, he moved to Nuremberg, where he served as managing director of several direct investment funds of ERGO Direkt Versicherung in the infrastructure sector. In this role, he was responsible for approximately EUR 100 million AUM. In 2019, he founded ADVISOS Corporate Finance Partnerschaftsgesellschaft together with partners.
Hans Urban
Advisory Board
During his time as head of the mounting systems business unit and deputy managing director of Schletter GmbH, Hans Urban demonstrated the positive impact he can have through his work. With a degree in electrical engineering specialising in energy technology from TU Munich and many years of professional experience, he has worked since 2017 as a freelance consultant on projects in renewable energy and storage technology. In his role on the advisory board, Hans Urban supports innovative and sustainable projects and actively contributes to the energy transition.
Alexander Kroß
Advisory Board
Alexander Kroß has more than 25 years of experience in international capital markets and is an expert in the field of institutional financing as well as fixed-income securities. Since 2001, he has been working for HSBC and has held various responsible positions in the area of Institutional Fixed Income Sales in Germany and the United Kingdom.
After completing his training as a reserve officer in the German Navy, he studied law and subsequently began his career at HSBC. During his long-term activity, he developed comprehensive expertise in the structuring, placement, and marketing of fixed income capital market products. His area of activity covers the entire capital structure, from classical debt capital instruments to hybrid financing forms and derivative solutions.
For over 15 years, Alexander Kroß has been taking on leadership responsibilities and today covers mainly banks, asset managers and other institutional investors in the German-speaking region. His long-standing experience in collaborating with international financial institutions and professional market participants gives him a profound understanding of the requirements of modern capital market financing, investor communication, and strategic corporate development.
As a member of the advisory board, Alexander Kroß brings his extensive expertise into the strategic further development of the company. His in-depth market understanding as well as his international network make a valuable contribution to the positioning of the company towards investors, financing partners, and other relevant market participants.
Yuxin Liu, M.Sc.
Head of Automation Engineering
Yuxin Liu is an electrical engineer with extensive expertise in automation and safety engineering. At GEPVOLT SE, he is responsible for overall technical leadership and the development and implementation of our battery storage systems. Before joining GEPVOLT SE, he spent many years in project management for industrial automation and control systems, including in safety-critical large-scale projects in the automotive and industrial sectors.
Dipl.-Ing. Waldemar Benske
Production Manager
As a graduate mechanical engineer, Waldemar Benske is production manager at GEPVOLT SE, responsible for building and continuously advancing the manufacture of large-scale battery storage systems. He has many years of experience in project management, test bench development and the industrialisation of complex technical systems, including in the international automotive environment.
Tareg Omari, M.Sc.
Technical Project Manager Charging Infrastructure
Tareg Omari is technical project manager for charging infrastructure and e-mobility at GEPVOLT SE. Previously, he worked at Stadtwerke Bochum GmbH as project manager in e-mobility and was responsible there for the operational management and technical administration of over 1,000 publicly accessible charging points. At GEPVOLT, he brings his experience to expanding high-performance charging infrastructure, including as part of the ATU rollout with around 300 planned locations.
Sebastian Jegielka
Production Manager Control Cabinet Assembly
Sebastian Jegielka has nearly two decades of experience in automation engineering, electrical assembly and industrial manufacturing processes. Before joining GEPVOLT SE, he led a team of around 90 employees as deputy production manager. With his technical expertise, Sebastian Jegielka is shaping the professional expansion of control cabinet assembly at GEPVOLT SE.
