Franz SchnorbachBoard of DirectorsFranz Schnorbach looks back on long-term experience in finance and banking. After his professional training at the Volksbank Rhein-Hunsrück-Nahe with a degree in 1975, he began his professional career as Director of the Koblenz branch at Sparda-Bank Südwest. As a further training measure, Franz Schnorbach completed a career-integrated study at the ADG Business School in Montabaur from 1982 to 1989. From 2001 to 2007, Franz Schnorbach was active as Department Director and Head of the Real Estate Center at Sparkasse Koblenz. This was followed by a position as Asset Manager at PEH Wertpapier AG in Oberursel from 2008 to 2011. After that, Franz Schnorbach moved to Dexia Luxembourg, where he was responsible for the German Market segment. Currently, he is working in the financing care sector as a sales partner for BIL Luxembourg. BIL is a successor institution of Dexia Luxembourg.

Thanks to her extensive network and in-depth knowledge in the field of renewable energies, Ahou Baz is a sought-after consultant for energy projects. In addition to her work in the real estate industry, Ahou Baz was also active as the managing director of an insurance agency. Karl AssingChairman of the Supervisory BoardKarl Assing has over three decades of experience in the insurance industry. His professional career began with training as a retail salesman, followed by a period at Volksbank Stadtlohn after his military service. After passing the banking profession exam and studying at the Banking Academy, he moved to R+V Insurance in 1991. There, he worked for six years as the organizational and branch manager of the company's own insurance broker SECURON. Subsequently, he worked for two years as a corporate client advisor at INVERMA, a medium-sized broker for commercial and industrial business. From 1999 to 2009, Karl Assing was the distribution director at CARDIF Insurance, a subsidiary of BNP PARIBAS Bank, and played a significant role in building the German branch. During this time, he successfully acquired banks, insurance companies, and real estate companies as partners for CARDIF. His responsibilities included, in addition to acquisition at the decision-making level, individual product development as well as technical and sales implementation. After that, he was the distribution director for bank sales North/West at IDEAL Insurance for two years. Since 2011, Karl Assing has been working at the current Freeyou Insurance, initially as a general representative and since 2012 as a board member. Freeyou Insurance is a subsidiary of the DEVK Insurance Group. His tasks initially included the restructuring and strategic reorientation of the company, later also the successful implementation and consolidation of digitalization initiatives. Through his long-standing experience and comprehensive expertise, Karl Assing has established himself as a highly respected leader in the insurance industry.
Pascal BruckmannSupervisory boardWith more than twenty years of experience at a leading media group, Pascal Bruckmann brings comprehensive expertise in the areas of journalism and publishing, business development, brand building, marketing, B2B sales, B2C distribution, and personnel management. In 2018, he founded Globista GmbH for the FUNKE Media Group and led the subsidiary as managing director for five years. Under his leadership, the company achieved a successful market launch and transitioned into sustainable profitability. Jane Alexandra KorteBoard of DirectorsJane Alexandra Korte is an experienced lawyer with comprehensive knowledge from governmental and entrepreneurial activities.She successfully completed her law studies at the universities in Göttingen and Düsseldorf and began her professional career at the State Parents' Association of Grammar Schools in North Rhine-Westphalia in Düsseldorf. In this position, she advocated for the interests of parents of high school students and made a significant contribution to improving the educational landscape. Following this, she moved to the German Cities Association in Cologne, where she further deepened her legal skills and engaged in municipal administration and politics. Her work included advising and supporting cities on legal issues and developing strategies to improve urban infrastructure and administration. After a professional break, during which she devoted herself to raising her three children, Jane Alexandra Korte returned to the private sector. For two years, she has been working as the chairwoman of the board of a stock corporation in the gastronomy and investment industry. Dr. Horst FriedrichAdvisory BoardDr. Horst Friedrich is a proven expert with over 30 years of professional experience in the field of corporate finance and corporate transactions (Mergers & Acquisitions).After studying economics in Germany and the USA, he worked for over 10 years at Deutsche Bank in the areas of economic analysis, corporate finance, and corporate finance for medium-sized businesses. At Bankhaus Metzler, he led Mergers & Acquisitions transactions for over 3 years. During the financial crisis, Dr. Horst Friedrich accompanied larger financial restructuring transactions with One Square Advisors, and subsequently, he was one of the first BondM coaches for the issuance of medium-sized loans on the Stuttgart Stock Exchange with G&P. Dr. Michal DallosAdvisory BoardDr. Michal Dallos, MBA is a Corporate Finance expert with extensive experience in the areas of corporate financing, M&A and management of direct investments.After his studies in Austria, Dr. Dallos initially worked as a project manager and consultant in the field of renewable energies with a focus on project management and investment evaluation. In 2010, he moved to Nuremberg, where he was responsible for several direct investment funds of ERGO Direkt Versicherung (part of the Munich Re Group) in the area of infrastructure (renewable energies) across Germany. In this function, he was responsible for approximately 100 million euros in assets under management (AUM). In 2019, he co-founded the ADVISOS Corporate Finance Partnership, which successfully advises owner-managed companies in the German medium-sized sector in the areas of succession planning and corporate financing. In addition to his work in the areas of M&A and financial advisory, Dr. Dallos supports young companies in the areas of corporate strategy, business model development and fundraising. Hans UrbanBoard of DirectorsHans Urban became clear during his time as head of the solar mounting systems business unit and deputy managing director of Schletter GmbH how much positive impact he can have through his work. With a degree in electrical engineering with a focus on energy technology from the Technical University of Munich and many years of professional experience, ranging from project and group management in the field of electrical railway equipment at Schaltbau Munich to heading a business unit at Schletter GmbH, Hans Urban has comprehensive professional qualifications. Since 2017, he has been working as a freelance consultant and is using his expertise to advance projects in the field of renewable energy and storage technology. He works with companies such as Schletter GmbH, MaxSolar, and regional energy providers. His many years of practical experience in solar thermal, photovoltaics, and energy management help him to develop and implement customized solutions. In his role as a board member, Hans Urban focuses on supporting innovative and sustainable projects and thus actively contributing to the energy transition. Yuxin LiuTechnical Operations ManagerYuxin Liu is an electrical engineer and has extensive expertise in automation and security technology. He is responsible for the technical overall management as well as the development and implementation of our battery storage systems at GEPVOLT SE.Before joining GEPVOLT SE, he was involved in project management for industrial automation and control systems for many years, including safety-critical large-scale projects in the automotive and industrial sectors. His qualifications include modern PLC and control technologies, functional safety (safety), system integration, and the technical implementation of complex industrial plants.With his technical expertise, methodical approach, and experience in highly complex plant structures, Yuxin Liu ensures that our energy storage solutions meet the highest industrial quality and safety standards.
Waldemar BenskeHead of ProductionHe is a graduate engineer for mechanical engineering and is responsible for the construction and continuous development of the production of large battery storage systems at GEPVOLT SE as a production manager.He has many years of experience in project management, test bench development, and industrialization of complex technical systems, including in the international automotive environment. His focus is on planning efficient production processes, quality assurance, and the safe integration of high-voltage and energy systems.With his structured and practical approach, he ensures that the battery storage solutions of GEPVOLT SE are produced economically, reliably, and according to the highest safety standards.
Sebastian Jegielka
Production manager switchgear constructionSebastian Jegielka has nearly two decades of experience in automation technology, electrical assembly and industrial production processes. He has extensive management experience in the production environment and is specialized in the development of efficient processes, the implementation of electrical engineering standards and the introduction of digital and process-optimized structures.Before joining GEPVOLT SE, he led a team of around 90 employees as deputy production manager and was responsible for optimizing demanding production and interface processes. His focus areas include the implementation of digital switchboard processes, lean methods, quality and safety standards as well as ensuring smooth technical production.With his in-depth technical know-how, his structured leadership strength and his ability to develop complex production processes sustainably, Sebastian Jegielka is shaping the professional expansion of switchgear construction at GEPVOLT SE. He ensures that technical requirements, quality and efficiency are consistently implemented at the highest level.
Dr.-Ing. Olaf Heil
Dr.-Ing. Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing. Olaf Heil has over 30 years of leadership, transformation, and governance experience in the international energy and infrastructure industry. He was active in leading positions at large energy corporations and industrial companies, as well as in other corporate and participation structures with complex regulatory and technical framework conditions.In his previous roles, Dr. Heil took on responsibility at the board, management, and supervisory board level with result responsibility in the order of over 850 million euros per year and extensive personnel responsibility. He accompanied and was responsible for large-volume energy and infrastructure projects through all phases, from strategic planning and approval to construction and commissioning to financing and operational operation.His professional focus areas are in the strategic development of energy companies, business development, M&A and cooperation structures, as well as in transformation and reorganization programs. In addition, he has in-depth expertise in digitalization and IT platforms in the industrial and energy industry environment.As a member of the supervisory board, Dr. Heil brings his long-standing experience in the management and supervision of large energy and infrastructure companies. Arnim Spöttl
Technical Director
Arnim Spöttl is a diploma engineer for mechanical engineering and has more than four decades of professional experience in technical and chemical plant construction. His technical focus is on renewable energies, synthesis gas technologies and the planning, implementation and optimization of battery storage solutions.
Throughout his career, he has successfully implemented numerous complex and innovative projects. These include, among other things, the utilization of biogenic residues, the development of efficient energy conversion processes and the conception and construction of modern battery storage parks. His work combines in-depth technical expertise with a clear understanding of economic and ecological requirements.
As a technological visionary, Arnim Spöttl actively drives the integration of forward-looking methods. A particular focus is on the targeted use of artificial intelligence to optimize technical processes, increase plant efficiency and improve operational safety.
With strategic foresight, high implementation competence and a pronounced understanding of innovation, he has been making a significant contribution to the transformation of the energy system towards a sustainable and climate-neutral supply for many years.
